From Japan to London: Ryuta Tomono begins a new stage with Tony Rizzo, ready to conquer the European hairdressing world
The Japanese hairdresser has worked in some of the best salons in Asia and also at prestigious fashion and makeup events. He sees hair as an artistic material that, in addition to being beautiful, should evoke emotions. Thanks to his creations, he has won numerous recognitions.
He began his career at the age of 15, after visiting a top-notch salon for the first time during a trip to Tokyo and realizing that this profession would allow him to make people happy. Since then, he has trained with the best and has worked in some of Asia's leading salons to become the benchmark he is today in the industry.
His unstoppable career has led him to start a new stage far from his homeland: in London. And he is doing it with none other than the legendary Tony Rizzo. For Tomono, "it's an honor and a privilege to be able to work with a hair artist like him - I'm really excited!". He adds that one of his goals in London, one of the major fashion capitals, is "to be able to participate in the backstage of big events like Fashion Week or commercial shootings."
This is a turning point in his career, a before and after: "I think it's a unique opportunity in my life. I'm going to completely rebuild my career in Europe, which can be difficult because I come from so far away. But there is a new world waiting for me in London, city of art, fashion and the place where hairdressing was born."
