María Gómez Peluquería Encarna Moreno

Hairdressing has accompanied María Gómez since childhood. As a child, she accompanied her mother, Encarna Moreno, to her salon in the afternoons, where she made drawings that she gave to clients. This has made her feel her profession from within, as well as to have a complete, diverse, and more creative vision of all facets of it. Therefore, after finishing the basic studies, it was clear to her that she would begin to train as a hairdresser, studying a Medium Level Training Cycle in Hairstyling and Hair Cosmetics in Seville (2015) and then a Higher-Level Training Cycle in Styling and Hairdressing Management (2020). In addition, she has completed a Master in Education, as well as the B1 degree in English, though her training continues. She has attended a training on Balayage by L´Oréal Professionnel in New York, a Makeup course by Cazcarra, a Men course, a technical course in Color by Indola, and a Shooting Life with Aduho, among others.

Currently, she is preparing for a competitive examination to work as a hairdresser teacher, while she works in the salón all day.

Being the daughter of a prestigious professional has led her to learn about the profession with great enthusiasm, but also dedication. While she was studying, she attended parallel courses on color, at the same time that she accompanied Encarna Moreno while she gave her training on updos. In addition, since she was 16 years old, she worked in the salon on weekends, preparing the guests of her mother's brides.
For two years she has been working fully as a hairdresser in the salon. His professionalism and youth are just one of the many attractions of the space, as she brings a new, fresher, and more colorful vision that fascinates all kinds of audiences, especially the younger ones, who at the same time attract their mothers to the salon. She is a very perfectionist professional who is attentive to details and, like her teacher, her mother, she is passionate about updos.

Though her career is short, her talent has been recognized with some of the most important awards individually:

• Finalist in the International Visionary Awards in the category "Avant-Garde" (2021)
• Winner of the Picasso award for "Best Young Andalusian Hairdresser" (2021)
• Winner of the Second International Modalité Prize (2021)
• Winner of Best Look Before & After in L´Oréal Professionnel Color Trophy (2021).
• Winner in the category of "Best Female Commercial Collection" in the Creative Hairdressing Awards of Andalusia (2019)
• Finalist in three categories of the Picasso Awards, "Best Commercial Female Collection", "Best Styling" and "Best Press Collection" (2019)
• Semifinalist TCT Awards commercial category (2019)
• In addition, together with her mother, she participated in the Matrix Awards (2018) collaborating with styling and makeup, both obtaining a first place.
